Snug Bug Sweaters is a mother–daughter business founded in 2010 by Linda Truesdale and Allison (“Ally”) Capone.

After retiring, Linda returned to her lifelong love of knitting—a creative passion she had little time for during her years of working and raising a family. What began as making sweaters for children, family, and friends quickly grew into an ever-expanding collection that filled every available corner of her home. It wasn’t until Ally saw just how many beautifully crafted sweaters her mother had created that the idea for Snug Bug Sweaters was born—an opportunity to share Linda’s remarkable work with a wider audience.

Today, Snug Bug Sweaters is dedicated to creating cozy, high-quality knitwear designed to bring warmth, comfort, and joy. Every sweater is entirely hand-knit by Linda using premium-quality yarns. We also collaborate with a small group of artisans, including the talented button maker Robin, whose charming, handcrafted buttons add the perfect finishing touch. These thoughtful details make each sweater truly special—one-of-a-kind pieces meant to be loved and cherished for years.
